Ayurvedic Herbal Hair Tea for hair growth, scalp stimulation, length retention, hair breakage, hair shedding and hair strength 

Have you been stuck with the same hair length for ages? Don’t worry, I got you. This herbal hair tea is packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antihistamine, phosphorus and fatty acids. It helps with excessive hair shedding, stimulates hair growth, strengthens hair strands, promotes healthier hair, and gives shine. Some of the herbs stimulate hair growth in dormant hair follicles, which causes the hair follicles to increase in number.

Ingredients: fenugreek seeds, black seeds, yellow mustard seeds, hibiscus flowers, horsetail, nettle, rosemary and sage.

Benefits of the herbs used:

Fenugreek seeds: It is a natural nourishing agent, promotes hair growth, helps to treat scalp conditions, strengthens the hair and controls hair loss.

Black seeds: It restores hair growth in thinning areas, helps with hair loss, and maintains scalp health by addressing scalp conditions while keeping the scalp moisturised.

Yellow mustard seeds: It soothes and eliminates scalp conditions such as: itchy scalp, dry scalp and hair, folliculitis, flaky scalp, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff. It also helps to regulate sebum production and strengthens the hair.

Hibiscus flowers: It is known for its anti-greying, strengthening, and cleansing properties. It promotes hair growth and slows down hair loss.

Horsetail: It adds strength to the hair shafts, it promotes healthy hair growth, and it adds sheen to the hair.

Nettle: It helps to combat hair loss, helps re-growth of lost hair, makes hair shiner and healthier, and restores the original hair colour.

Rosemary: It has the ability to improve cellular generation, which improves hair thickness and stimulates hair growth.

Sage: It is highly beneficial in treating scalp conditions such as dandruff, eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. It balances sebum production, relieves dry scalp itchiness, and prevents clogged hair follicles due to its astringent properties.

How to use:

Add 50 grams of the mix in 2 cups of warm/hot water for at least 24 hours. Remove the mix from the liquid. Apply the liquid over your wet hair, and gently rinse out with cool water. Alternatively, you can leave it on your hair and apply your leave in conditioner afterwards.

You can also use the hair mix in your Ayurvedic and natural hair care recipes as a hair growth oil (add your favourite oil to the herbal mix), hair spritz, or as a liquid in your hair masks and pre poo treatments.
